Documation, has been selected by a UK based housing association to provide an Invoice Management Solution (IMS) to increase efficiencies in their Accounts Payable (AP) department.
The association’s requirement was to improve the processing of invoices and reduce overheads within the AP department. The AP team had little visibility and control of their end-to-end process leading to increased queries and processing delays. They currently process 750 supplier invoices manually a week; the solution will help to streamline this process by automating both the validation and matching of works order invoices along with the coding, distribution and authorisation of non-purchase order invoices. This will help to significantly reduce manual data entry and improve control and visibility for key business processes.

The solution, which will be tightly integrated with both the housing associations financial and works management systems, will allow employees throughout the association to search for invoices and view the document image online within a familiar environment.
