Iron Mountain has been named as a preferred supplier within the Government's new £200 million document management framework, a category that includes records storage, digitisation and shredding. Iron Mountain is the sole supplier recommended by the Government Procurement Service for the provision of offsite information management services, which comprise around 40 per cent of the framework value.

"Iron Mountain were chosen because of their demonstrated experience in managing and safeguarding public sector records, their quality and range of services and their stated on-going commitment to security and innovation. This Framework gives Iron Mountain a real opportunity to deliver savings to both central government and the wider public sector."
The new Document Storage and Related Services Framework has been created as part of the Government's pledge to deliver efficient and more effective procurement. Iron Mountain's portfolio of services will be available to all central and local government, the NHS, educational institutions, the emergency services and many other public sector bodies across the UK.
