Tuesday 11th July, 2023

Esker has announced that Gloucester City Homes, an independent Housing Association in the City of Gloucester has selected Esker’s Source-to-Pay (S2P) solutions suite to automate its accounts payable processes.

Gloucester City Homes (GCH) is an independent Housing Association in the City of Gloucester for over 100 years.

GCH has 4,522 rented homes, 323 leasehold homes, 126 shared ownership homes and 107 homeless units, generating over 12,000 invoices annually. Automating its accounts payable processes will enable GCH to be more efficient, manage its cash flow clearly and provide a great level of customer service to its tenants.

Dave Simpson, Assistant Accountant (Systems and Internal Controls), Gloucester City Homes, said, “This is the first time I’ve been involved in an implementation that has been a good experience! Even with unavoidable delays from our side, the team at Esker were excellent and always clear in their communications with us. From the moment we switched on the solution, users were raising requisitions themselves, with no help, demonstrating Esker’s AI-led intuitiveness.”

Rachel Evans, Project Manager, Gloucester City Homes, said, “We can easily see where approval bottlenecks are and the solution enables remote working, which was essential for our team. Esker’s support portal during implementation was so easy to use. The Professional Services team were always helpful and quick with their replies.”
