Rakesh is a recognised thought leader in business transformation, shared services and outsourcing and regularly presents at conferences in Europe, Asia and North America. With considerable experience within industry and board-level roles within the NHS and charity sector, he has the gravitas to influence executives and build strategic relationships.

Since founding Proservartner in 2008, Rakesh has been dedicated to the success of the organisation, building a team of highly skilled practitioners and developing industry-leading approaches.

He has been recognised as one of the most influential leaders in shared services and outsourcing, and nominated for Advisor of the Year at the National Outsourcing Association’s Awards. He is a qualified chartered accountant, certified project manager and Black Belt Lean Six Sigma.

Javed Bobat 500Javed Bobat has a rare skill set where he is a mental health speaker, workplace well-being advocate, Mental Health First Aid instructor AND Finance Recruiter!

He is the founder of Fide and F=@#! Mental Health CIC, a non-profit he set up in 2019 to raise mental health awareness, specifically within the accounting and finance profession and their workplaces. Through the CIC, he provides one-on-one mental health support to individuals and line managers. In addition he also delivers Mental Health First Aid training, bespoke mental health/workplace wellbeing training, talks, workshops and events. He has worked with some notable businesses, from FTSE100 business like Burberry and other blue chip companies including Asda and Liberty Global, through to finance institutes including ICAEW, Chartered Institute of Taxation and First Intution in addition to growing SMEs. He set it up as a give-back venture on the back of his own lived experience around anxiety, depression, burnout, suicide ideation, addiction and substance misuse. He funds and sustains his non-profit through the revenues he generates from his other company Fide. Fide is a groundbreaking, ethical recruitment business that combines finance recruitment with mental health. He gives each company he works for a wellbeing budget each time he recruits for them.

 Susan Walsh, Founder and Managing Director, The Classification Guru

Susan walsh data guruSusan is Founder and Managing Director of The Classification Guru Ltd, a specialist data classification, taxonomy customisation and data cleansing consultancy. She is an industry thought leader, TEDx speaker and author of ‘Between the Spreadsheets: Classifying and Fixing Dirty Data’. She’s also the founder of COAT.

Susan has developed a methodology to accurately and efficiently classify, cleanse and check data for errors which will help prevent costly mistakes. Sarah Watson, Director of Finance & Technology

She is currently an independent Trustee (Finance) of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH), the former Chair of Trustees for Medical Aid Films and a Mentor for the Cherie Blair Women in Business Programme - a network set-up to provide women with the capability, confidence and capital to achieve.

Billie O'Connor, CFO, Milk & More

Billie OConnor 250 newBillie has just completed her CFO & CIO Exec and Board level role in a UTM Group owned business, Milk & More, where alongside this she led the transaction to sell the business, in a process involving PE, Listed and Trade buyers. Post the transaction, she remains in a Leadership role within UTM to ensure the success of the transition to the new owners. Previous roles have included FD of Selfridges Digital Business as well as FD for Investment, and she was also part of the Merger team for the Walgreens and Alliance Boots merger in 2014, a combined business at the time being £23.4bn Turnover. She has also had roles at Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, and Esporta Health Group (which sold to Virgin Active during her time leading FP&A).

In addition, she is the Treasurer of The Twenty Club (Retail Exec Organisation), and an advisor to smaller businesses. She is also a fierce advocate for Women in Leadership, and the Founder & CEO of NOVA Community Ltd. NOVA Community is a Senior Female Leadership network of over 500 leaders, supporting and driving more women in leadership positions.

Stephen Sutcliffe, Director of Finance & Accounting

He is passionate about the NHS finance function and the NHS, and continues to see the value he brings to improving front line patient care. Stephen has been responsible for transforming the delivery of our Finance & Accounting service. He is passionate about the impact that technology can bring to both the finance function and the end user and is helping to shape a new era of shared NHS finance services that are underpinned by innovative digital technologies. He is a qualified accountant, leading the largest F&A shared service in the world with a drive to improve customer satisfaction and implement digital transformation. In 2020, he was named Finance Leader of the Year by the Shared Services and Outsourcing Network (SSON), an international organisation that promotes global excellence in shared services.

Riochard RRichard Ransom, Manager, Solution Consulting: Corporates, Bottomline

With experience working with corporates of all sizes and for vendors, banks, payment schemes, infrastructure providers, and as a specialist consultant, Richard has gained extensive experience in the solutions to solve the issues surrounding business payments and associated AP, AR, and Cash Management Processes. His specialities include today’s business payment methods, the future business payment landscape. He also focuses on automation, efficiency, and fraud and error mitigation in the AP space.

With over 20 years’s transofrmation experience across different multinational Service Centers, Malgorzata is passionate about continuous imrpovement and the future of Procurement and Payables functions. Through focusing on the capabilities of moder technology, she achieved advanced automation across order-to-pay processes. Gosia is an advocate for innovative solutions that empower the teams to deliver exceptional value add services.


Kady Robinson, Business Development Manager, Esker UK & Northern Europe

Kady Robinson 200Kady originally joined Esker in 2022 as an Internal Sales Representative, having since developed and progressed on to become a Business Development Manager, specialisng in our Source to Pay solutions. From previous experience within Sales and Account Management, Kady brings knowledge from many industries to this role and enjoys applying them to help customers in their S2P automation journey.

Prior to Esker, Kady has gained a wealth of sales experience, particularly in the tourism and hospitality sectors, working with customers from a wide variety of industries.
