Leo Johnson

leo johnson 500Leo Johnson leads PwC’s Disruption practice and co-presents the Radio 4 series “FutureProofing”, exploring the impacts of exponential technologies on business and society. Formerly at the World Bank, Leo is the co-Founder of the advisory firm Sustainable Finance, now part of the PwC group.

The only Johnson brother not to have gone into politics, he is the co-author of “Turnaround Challenge: Business and the City of the Future” (Oxford University Press, 2013) and a Visiting Business Fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise & Environment at Oxford University.
While Johnson’s family is rooted in politics, he decided to pursue a different career path, graduating from Oxford University and then completing a masters in environmental and resource economics at UCL.

Johnson is the author of Beyond Risk, co-author of Turnaround Challenge: Business and the City of Future, and winner of the IFC Corporate Award for his work with the financial sector. As well as being a Fellow at Oxford’s Smith School of Enterprise, he lectures at the LSE and the Cambridge Programme for Industry.

Patrick Chiu circlePatrick Chiu, Head of Finance Systems, Triple Point

Patrick holds a degree in Mathematics with Management Studies from UCL and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007.  He has over 15 years’ experience within Financial Services and has held many traditional accounting posts across the City. Since joining Triple Point, Patrick has been heavily invested in running their Finance Systems team and has implemented Oracle Netsuite, Workday Adaptive, SAP Concur and Corptraveller for the Company. Outside of Triple Point, Patrick spends a lot of time running to give himself a much-needed cognitive cleanse.

Mark Watson is a highly experienced Business Development Manager who specialises in helping mid-market organisations in both the public and private sectors to better control their spend and manage supply-chain risk; improve compliance and governance of their purchasing activities; reduce the cost of goods and services; and deliver efficiencies, all through process digitisation and automation.

Having been with Proactis since 2012, Mark is genuinely passionate about helping customers achieve best practice processes, world-class spend management efficiencies, and maximum return on investment, working with the likes of Lincolnshire County Council, Waverley Borough Council, Bedford Borough Council and Herefordshire County Council.

Clive has over 25 years recruitment experience leading and working with Robert Half talent solutions teams in various UK and international locations including the Benelux, the UAE, Brazil and Chile. Clive’s deep experience of talent delivery, excellent knowledge of working across different country markets and sensitivity to cultural diversities is informed by his extensive “story-telling” knowledge of how to attract the best candidates to grow businesses. Sensitive to ongoing discussion about the Future of Work, Clive is an experienced speaker with access to data from many recent Robert Half sponsored studies focussed upon leading, hiring and working in an ever-changing hybrid work environment.

 

 


Ryan Reid, EMEA Senior Director, Workday Adaptive Planning

Ryan RRyan Reid is a Senior Director at Workday and is responsible for our Workday Adaptive planning business across EMEA. Within this role Ryan is responsible for both the acquisition and success of our customers. Prior to joining Workday in 2021, Ryan served for seven years as Vice President at Salesforce leading multiple teams in Northern Europe. With over twenty-five years in the technology industry Ryan has also held leadership roles at Oracle and Sage where he led large teams focused on mid to large enterprise accounts. He also spent 8 years at a start-up, Candidate Manager which he launched into North America. The business was then subsequently acquired by Axel Springer.

Ryan holds a master’s degree in business from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business school and is based in our EMEA Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.

Dionne Reynolds, Finance Director, Envy Post

 

Dionne has over 30 years’ experience in accounting and finance, starting out in practice and spending the majority of her commercial years in the media industry, a business area which is she is very passionate about.  She joined ENVY Post Production in 2007 and was appointed Finance Director in 2018.  Her financial and commercial insight has helped to steer ENVY through its growth from the start up years and she is keen to continue developing the company’s move towards embracing technology, automation and efficiencies in finance.
